Profile Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Management Trainee who is a freshly qualified Chartered Accountant to join our dynamic Finance team. As a Management Trainee, you will have the unique opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of the various functions within the finance department. This role is designed to provide you with hands-on experience and exposure to different aspects of financial operations, enabling you to contribute effectively to our organization’s financial success.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis and Reporting : Assist in the preparation, analysis, and presentation of financial statements and reports.
Collaborate with the team to perform variance analysis and identify trends, highlighting areas for improvement.
Assist in generating accurate financial forecasts and projections.

Budgeting and Planning: Participate in the budgeting process, contributing to the development of budgets and financial plans.
Monitor actual performance against budgets, identifying and investigating significant variances.

Audit and Compliance: Participate in internal and external audit processes, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Assist in ensuring adherence to financial regulations and company policies.

Taxation : Gain exposure to taxation procedures, including preparation and filing of tax returns.
Assist in ensuring compliance with tax regulations and identifying potential tax-saving opportunities.

Financial Operations: Rotate through different finance functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger, to gain a holistic understanding of financial operations.
Assist in streamlining processes to enhance operational efficiency.

Financial Systems and Tools : Learn and utilize various financial software and tools to support data analysis and reporting.
Assist in implementing system improvements and upgrades as needed.

Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate with other departments, such as Operations, Marketing, Sales and HR to understand the financial implications of business decisions.
Provide financial insights to support strategic initiatives and decision-making.

Special Projects: Contribute to special projects as assigned by senior members of the finance team.
Apply your analytical skills to solve complex financial challenges.

Education & Experience

Freshly qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong academic record.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in financial analysis, reporting, and Microsoft Excel.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
Adaptability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
