Our client, a rapidly expanding technology company specializing in artificial intelligence and computer vision solutions, is seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Junior Financial Controller.
As the Junior Financial Controller, you will work closely with the other team members to support our accounting function and collaborate with various departments. You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and gain valuable exposure to financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting. Your contributions will be essential in shaping the financial strategies of our dynamic organization.
Key responsibilities:
Analysing financial data to provide valuable insights and support strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with department heads and senior finance professionals in creating accurate forecasts and budgets.
Support the accounting function to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Assist in presenting financial information to key stakeholders with confidence and clarity.
Contribute to cross-functional teams and initiatives to ensure cost-effective operations.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Assist in managing financial interactions and coordination with international teams.
Support the team in various financial analysis tasks using spreadsheets and financial software.
Requirements:
At least 6 years of experience in a similar role
Strong communication and leadership skills
Minimum Education Qualification: Accountancy Qualification (CA/ICWA)
Strong Microsoft Excel Skills
Fluent English speaker and writer
Good knowledge and ability in terms of being able to use the performance data
available to drive business insights
Knowledge of IFRS and Consolidations
Competent user of Accounting Software (Tally and Accounts IQ preferred)
Working as part of a broader team with strong relationship-building skills
