Responsibilities:
Book Closing and Financial Reporting:
– Oversee and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual book closing process.
– Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
– Review and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and provide insights for management decision-making.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to obtain necessary financial data and ensure its accuracy and completeness.
Management Information System (MIS) Preparation:
– Develop and maintain robust MIS reports that provide critical insights into the company’s financial performance and key performance indicators (KPIs).
– Regularly update and distribute MIS reports to senior management, providing them with the necessary information for strategic planning and decision-making.
– Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency enhancement based on MIS analysis.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
– Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts in coordination with various departments.
– Monitor budget performance, analyze variances, and provide relevant explanations to stakeholders.
– Make data-driven recommendations for cost optimization and resource allocation.
Financial Compliance and Audit:
– Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, taxation laws, and regulatory requirements.
– Liaise with external auditors during the annual financial audit process and provide necessary support and documentation.
– Implement internal control measures to safeguard financial assets and prevent fraudulent activities.
