About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Leader to lead and scale the business across Debt Syndication, Private Equity, Investment Banking, Structured Finance and related financial services businesses.
This is a business leadership and P&L ownership role requiring a strong combination of capital-markets expertise, institutional relationships, transaction capability and entrepreneurial drive.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Strategy & P&L Leadership:
– Define and execute the overall business strategy and growth roadmap.
– Own the P&L, revenue growth, profitability and business performance across verticals.
– Identify new business opportunities, markets, products and strategic partnerships.
Debt Syndication & Structured Finance:
– Drive origination and execution of debt syndication, structured finance and corporate financing transactions.
– Develop strong relationships with banks, NBFCs, private credit funds, institutional lenders and other capital providers.
Private Equity / Investment Business:
– Drive PE / AIF / investment opportunities, including deal sourcing, evaluation and transaction execution.
– Build relationships with domestic and international institutional investors, family offices, funds and strategic investors.
– Give strategic direction and push for mandates across fund raising, M&A, strategic investments, private placements, IPO/Pre-IPO and other corporate finance transactions.
Client & Investor Relationships:
– Build long-term relationships with promoters, business families, large corporates, PE / VC funds, and family offices.
Leadership & Team Building:
– Build, mentor and retain a high-performing leadership team across business verticals.
– Establish clear revenue ownership, performance metrics and accountability.
– Develop strong origination and execution capabilities across the organisation.
– Create a culture of entrepreneurship, ownership, compliance and client-centricity.
Risk, Governance & Compliance:
– Ensure strong governance and compliance across all businesses.
– Work closely with the Board and senior leadership on risk management and strategic decisions.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
– 18-25+ years of experience in Investment Banking, Debt Syndication, Private Equity, Structured Finance, Capital Markets, Corporate Finance or related financial services.
– Proven experience in business leadership and P&L ownership.
– Strong track record of originating and closing significant transactions.
– Deep relationships with promoters, corporates, banks, NBFCs, PE funds, family offices and institutional investors.
