Position: Institutional Research (Sell Side) (Cement, Metal, Mid-Cap, BFSI)
Job Purpose:
To conduct in-depth research and analysis of midcap companies/sectors, generate actionable investment insights, and support institutional clients with high-quality reports and recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct detailed fundamental research on companies across assigned sectors
– Build and maintain financial models (DCF, valuations, forecasting)
– Track industry trends, company performance, and macroeconomic factors
– Prepare research reports, earnings notes, and sector updates
– Interact with company management, industry experts, and stakeholders
– Support institutional sales team with investment ideas and client queries
– Present research findings to internal teams and external clients
Key Requirements:
– MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA (preferred)
– Strong experience in equity research with focus on midcap stocks
– Strong understanding of financial statements and valuation techniques
– Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication skills
– Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, etc.)
