Buy-Side Equity Research Analyst

About the Role:
We are hiring for a Buy-Side Equity Research Analyst role with a leading investment management firm.
The role involves conducting in-depth fundamental research on listed companies across sectors, identifying investment opportunities, developing investment theses and contributing to investment decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct fundamental research on listed companies across sectors.
– Identify and evaluate investment opportunities through detailed company and industry analysis.
– Build and maintain financial and valuation models.
– Analyse company financials, earnings, business performance and growth prospects.
– Track industry trends, regulatory developments and company-specific developments.
– Develop investment theses and stock recommendations.
– Prepare detailed research reports and investment notes.
– Participate in management interactions, analyst meets and conference calls.
– Monitor covered companies and track developments relevant to investment decisions.
Candidate Profile:
– 5+ years of experience in Equity Research.
– Experience in Buy-Side Equity Research is preferred.
– Sector-agnostic candidates with strong fundamental research and stock-picking skills are welcome.
– Strong financial modelling and valuation skills.
– Good understanding of financial statements and business analysis.
– Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
– Candidates from PMS, AIF, Asset Management Companies and other investment management firms will be preferred.
