Roles and Responsibilities:
– Review of all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate regulatory requirements including Income Tax act, GST act, FEMA, Companies Act and other applicable regulations;
– Maintaining internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue, costs, and control budgets and actual expenditures;
– Coordinating with all operational departments, information assessment and timely closure of monthly books;
– Consistent analysis of financial data and presenting financial reports in an accurate and timely manner;
– Efficient preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, monitor progress, changes and keep senior leadership abreast of the financial status;
– Assisting leadership in the annual budgeting and planning process;
– Administering and reviewing all financial plans and comparing to actual results with a view to identifying, explaining and correcting variances as appropriate;
– Ensuring that expenditures are consistently aligned with the budgets;
– Managing organizational cash flow by working in partnership with the senior leadership;
– Collaborating with leadership team to assess the financial efficacy of operations and establish finance and administrative systems to support these operations;
– Coordinate and cooperate with statutory and internal auditors to close and finalize required reports;
– Prioritizing and managing requirements of multiple stakeholders on ad hoc basis;
– Handle pressure and manage team members for efficient turnaround time;
– Adapt to fast changing environment and latest technology available;
– Primary responsibility to report to US company and act as a governance keeper, custodian of the US parent Co. Every asset, finance, money, process ownership would be with FC
– Redefining existing process, SOP, authorisation matrix, software tools used to develop a more transparent and organised method of financial, accounting, compliance
– Create dash board, which is live to enable monitoring
Qualification, Experience and Skills:
– Chartered Accountant at least 3 years post qualifications and minimum 3 years experience in finance manager role;
– Strong knowledge on Accounting principles and financial analysis;
– Experience preferable from reputed CA firms or established organizations;
– Exposure to handling auditors, multiple investors, management and other stakeholders;
– Keen analytical and problem solving skills;
– Ability to analyse complex data sets and provide visualized reports;
– Proficiency in operating key Microsoft tools such as MS excel, PPT, Power tools etc.
– Excellent communication and team management skills.
