Corporate Development Manager
Amazon India is currently recruiting for a Manager, Corp Dev team with a focus on direct equity investments in India.
The Corp Dev team is responsible for minority investments and M&A activity at Amazon.
The candidate should be capable of thinking out of the box, identify new trends and develop investment theses backed by quality data
Key job responsibilities:
The individual will be independently responsible for:
– Building a pipeline and Sourcing investible opportunities
– Assist the team in execution of transactions.
– Monitor the investment portfolio
Basic qualifications:
– Bachelor’s/PG Degree
– 2+ years of applicable experience in investment banking / Private equity / venture capital firm
Preferred qualifications:
– Post-graduate degree / Professional qualifications such as CA/CFA
– Competency with new age businesses
– Demonstrated ability to think outside the box, identify new trends and have a point of view on them
– Ability to build and maintain a network of relationships which facilitate deal flow
Note : This is 2 years CONTRACT ROLE on Amazon Payroll.
