Position – Senior Associate
Location – Gurgaon/ Bangalore/Pune

Job Purpose
The candidate will work dedicatedly for a Project Financing team of a Global investment bank, supporting on creating complex financial models and validating/ updating models already in place, and also preparing relevant material with underlying assumptions and outcome in word/ ppt
Key Responsibilities
⢠Develop, build and or validate complex project financial models to evaluate various project investment scenarios.
⢠The models would comprise project cash flows modelling, debt capacity modelling and also tax equity modelling relevant to US power and infrastructure projects
⢠Independently able to structure models in discussion with onshore bankers following a suggestive approach and execute with excellent quality to ensure âhigh client satisfactionâ
⢠Additionally, should be able to prepare deal related memos i.e. credit approval memos, investment memorandums etc.
⢠Demonstrate strength and flair in client/requester relationship building and management, information/knowledge needs assessment
Key Competencies
⢠MBA/ CFA/ CA
⢠Relevant 4+ years of Power including Renewable Energy like Solar and Wind Energy projects or infrastructure projects in an investment banking division of a bank, boutique firm, KPO, consultancy, or advisory firm
⢠Strong analytical and statistical skills to assess and understand project investment structures, government regulations/ policies and industry, to prepare models and related assumptions
⢠The candidate should be self-starter and should be able to work independently
⢠Excellent written and spoken communication skills
⢠MS Office skills â MS Excel should excellent along with proficiency in MS PowerPoint and MS Word. Ability to create macros would be added advantage
