About the programme

This is an end-to-end preparation programme for anyone trying to move into management consulting. Over five hours of live teaching plus a one-week internship, you will learn how the hiring funnel works, how to build a CV that survives a thirty-second screen, and how to solve a case out loud in front of an interviewer.

The teaching is done by five current and former consultants from BCG, Bain and Arthur D. Little — people who have sat on the other side of the table. You also walk away with the casebooks, CV formats and presentation templates that strong candidates rely on.

What you get

Curriculum

Five modules, four hours of structured teaching, built around the order you will actually meet these things in a real recruiting process.

Module 1: Introduction to Management Consulting (1 hour)
Grounding in what the industry really looks like: the size and shape of consulting in India versus the US, the firm tiers and where each plays - MBB, Kearney, the Big 4 - and honest numbers on pay, hiring volumes and team structure. We cover the three skills that actually get rewarded (problem solving, structured thinking, communication), the entry routes open to you post CA, engineering, commerce, MBA or lateral hire, and what a consultant genuinely does day to day.

Module 2: The Application Process (1 hour)
How the funnel actually works: CV and cover letter, shortlisting, the buddy round and final interviews. Building a resume that survives a 30-second screen - top-loading and front-loading, spikes versus sectional balance, quantifying the impact of every line, and the hygiene factors screeners look for. Plus how to network with consultants at your target firms without being a nuisance.

Module 3: Case Interview Preparation (2 hours)
The heart of the programme. Why firms use case interviews and what they are really testing, then a repeatable opening sequence: clarify the question, ask preliminary questions, take time, set out a framework, work with the interviewer, summarise and recommend. We work through one worked example of each major case type - profitability, market entry, growth, pricing and unconventional - and close with live cases on stage, one with an audience member and one panellist-to-panellist to model the standard you are aiming at.

Module 4: Behavioural Interview Preparation (30 mins)
The round candidates most often under-prepare for. What the behavioural interview is actually assessing, the questions that come up again and again, and how to build answers that evidence the skills the firm is screening for rather than just narrating your CV. Includes practice interviews with structured feedback.

Module 5: Next Steps and Career Development (30 mins)
What happens after the offer. The different career paths inside a consulting firm, how promotion and progression actually work, what separates the people who advance quickly, and the exit opportunities the role opens up in industry, private equity and start-ups.

The one-week internship

Included with the programme. You are put into a team, handed a live group case, and given a week to build and present a recommendation deck — the closest thing to the real job you can get before you have it. Awards go to the best consultants and best teams, and everyone who completes it receives a certificate.

Your mentors
