IRRBB – Business Consulting Risk – FSRM – Gurgaon

Our Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM) practice focuses on risk management, regulatory, quantitative, and technology backgrounds. The breadth of experiences of FSRM professionals enables the practice to coordinate the delivery of a broad array of risk management services to capital market participants throughout the world in a well-integrated manner.

We are looking for IRRBB Professionals to work within a dynamic team under FSRM service line focusing on regulatory requirements, Compliance, Internal Audit, and External Audit.

Your key responsibilities:

The candidate will primarily be working on Capital and Liquidity risk engagements. The key responsibilities would involve:

– Support IRRBB for all Reporting and Insight related activities by providing in-depth analysis of IRRBB metrics – NII sensitivity, EVE, Gap Risk and Basis Risk

– Provide support to improve the measurement and management of all material IRRBB risks and propose IRRBB risk appetite

– Combine strong subject matter expertise in IRRBB topics, to ensure the provision of timely and accurate management information for regulatory reporting as well as for meeting business objectives

– Work on unstructured requests and perform ad-hoc analysis to answer management queries

– Define procedures and guidance for managing the IRRBB reporting tools

– Challenge the first line control and risk owners to ensure that risk management activities are working effectively

– Monitor compliance of the minimum requirements applicable to the management of Treasury risk department

– Report on the risk and control profile, including impacts of external environment changes, emerging risks and changes to the business

– Support activities to improve the measurement and management of all material IRRBB risks, calibrating IRRBB risk appetite

– Support definition of the Risk and Control Library, including minimum control standards, with input from Risk Owners, and Control Owners, specifying key risks and key controls and providing guidance on continuous monitoring expectations

To qualify for the role you must have:

– 2 – 10 years of work experience in a Big4 / Financial services firm in area of internal audit, assurance or treasury management

– CA / MBA in Finance or Masters in similar and relevant field.

– FRM/CQF/CFA certification would be a plus

– Good working knowledge of IRRBB requirements and regulations

– Good understanding of the key risk drivers and measures of IRRBB

– Good understanding of assurance techniques obtained in a big 4 accounting firm or internal audit department of a financial institution

– Experience in gathering and writing business requirements and understand change management programs.

– Excellent communication skills with experience in interacting with individuals at all levels of an organization

– Ability to navigate in complex matrix environment with focus and execution
