Iteach Schools – Finance Associate

Job description
Responsibilities

The Finance Associate will work directly with the Finance Manager. Given that iTeach Schools is seven years old and expanding fast, we are looking for people who will be eager to execute the most effective systems and processes, combining researched best practices with their own contextual innovation.

Stakeholder Management:

Working with school administrative staff for the Financial work
Working closely with vendors and funding partners
Supporting iTeach Schools in FCRA completion
Working in the Central Team with all the staff members

Finance Management:

Voucher checking and updating for schools and Central Office
Bank Payments through Cheque and Online Mode
Reimbursement of bills
Managing the petty cash
Using Tally and other software for maintaining financial records.

Government Finance Work:

PF, PT, and TDS working, payment, and follow up
Internal and External Audit Documentation and follow up with CA-CS. Visiting their offices

Other Finance Work:

Salary sheet making and disbursement
Managing the Donations and updating the data
Checking the school finance(petty cash and bills) by visiting each school
Giving inputs for refining the finance, accounting, and reporting systems
Working on making Fund Utilization Reports for each entity

Operations Support:

Supporting the Ops team for various events on team and organization level
Managing the administration of Central Office(Network Team)Check repairs, maintenance, and housekeeping
Visiting banks vendors and other partners for coordination of work

Experience and Competencies

Graduate in commerce with a strong understanding of accounts, taxation, and financial compliance
Preferred: 1+ years work experience in Finance
Preferred: Tally and other accounting software
