Job Title: Deputy Manager (Internal Audit) for Global Internal Audit team
Location: Mumbai
Age band: 28-32 yrs
Education: CA plus additional qualifications such as CIA / ACCA / CISA / MBA etc.
Experience: Minimum 6-8 years (preferably experience in Internal Audit & Manufacturing sector).
Target Sectors: Big Four Firms (Risk Advisory) / Any lubricant companies or renowned FMCG companies
Others: Must have a valid passport. Ready to travel for at least 10 to 12 days a month.
Job Description:
– Plan and execute internal audits in line with the annual audit plan.
– Perform audit procedures to assess risks, test internal controls, and evaluate compliance with applicable policies, regulations, and standards.
– Document audit work comprehensively, ensuring clear evidence and well-structured working papers that support audit conclusions. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes (domestic and international), Companies Act provisions, compliance requirements, and accounting standards.
– Prepare concise and insightful audit reports summarizing findings, root causes, associated risks, and actionable recommendations.
– Support follow-up reviews to verify that management has effectively implemented corrective actions for previously reported issues.
– Collaborate effectively with team members and engage cross-functional departments to ensure audit objectives are achieved.
– Utilize advanced data analytics tools (e.g., IDEA, ACL) to perform detailed analyses and enhance audit effectiveness.
– Provide recommendations to improve processes, enhance cost efficiency, and strengthen operational effectiveness.
– Partner with management to reinforce governance frameworks and promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Desired profile / skill set:
– Good Command over English, effective written and verbal communication skills.
– Analytical, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
– Regular reading habits to stay abreast of new trends & development.
– Working knowledge of SAP, other ERP.
– Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite
