Finance Controller

Location: GIFT City, Gandhinagar

Experience: 8 – 12 years

Core Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting and Compliance:

– Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements specific to AIFs and accounting standards.

– Oversee the preparation of financial statements for the fund, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

– Coordinate with internal and external auditors for audits and reviews specific to AIFs.

– Responsible for branch level accounts for investment manager books of accounts.

Financial Planning and Analysis:

– Develop and maintain financial models specific to Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) to support strategic initiatives and decision-making processes.

– Monitor financial performance of the AIF fund(s), analyze variances, and provide insights to senior management.

– Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial reports tailored to the AIF industry.

Strategic Initiatives:

– Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic plans for business growth and expansion.

– Evaluate investment opportunities specific to AIFs and provide financial insights to support decision-making.

Expected Candidate Profile:

– Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from a similar industry or mutual fund.

– Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards.

– Proven experience in financial management, reporting, and analysis.
