Job Description – Head of Internal Audit

Experience: 15 – 20 years

Industry: Manufacturing – Diversified Business Groups

Key Responsibilities:

– Develop and execute the internal audit plan across multiple business domains.

– Guide audit teams on audit methodology, execution and risk assessment.

– Present audit findings, risks and recommendations to the Audit Committee and senior management.

– Drive implementation of audit recommendations and corrective actions.

– Explain audit observations to teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and accountability.

– Drive continuous improvement in internal controls, processes and governance.

– Conduct regular site visits to manufacturing facilities and business locations.

Candidate Profile:

– 15 – 20 years of experience in internal audit, preferably with Big 4 firms handling domestic clients and/or large manufacturing groups.

– Experience auditing multiple business functions and manufacturing operations.

– Strong exposure to field audits and plant/site visits, not limited to back-office or shared services audits.

– Proven experience in Audit Committee presentations, stakeholder management and audit remediation.

– Strong leadership, communication and team management skills.

– Demonstrated career stability and the ability to drive audit initiatives end to end.
