Lead – Payroll – Accounting/Finance

We’re Hiring: Lead – Payroll | Lagos, Nigeria

Are you an experienced payroll professional with a strong background in large-scale payroll operations, financial planning, and team leadership?

We are looking for a Lead – Payroll to oversee end-to-end payroll operations and ensure accurate, compliant, and timely salary administration across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

– Manage end-to-end payroll processing and salary disbursement.

– Ensure compliance with payroll policies, statutory requirements, and labor regulations.

– Oversee payroll records, reconciliations, reporting, and payroll audits.

– Monitor payroll cash flow and support budgeting and forecasting activities.

– Prepare payroll-related management reports and variance analyses.

– Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Payroll Accountants.

– Drive payroll process improvements and ERP optimization initiatives.

Requirements:

– 16 – 20 years of experience in payroll and finance operations.

– Proven experience managing payroll for 2,000+ employees.

– Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, controls, and compliance requirements.

– Experience leading teams of Payroll Accountants.

– Hands-on expertise with ERP systems such as SAP, EPICOR, or similar platforms.

– Advanced Excel, analytical, and reporting skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

– Inter CA / ICWA / MBA (Finance) / M.Com
