Manager – Statutory Audit – Banking/Financial Services – CA

Qualification:

CA Required

Key Responsibilities:

– Plan, manage, and execute statutory audit engagements across a diverse client portfolio.

– Understand business processes, identify key audit risks, and design appropriate audit procedures.

– Review financial statements and assess compliance with applicable Accounting Standards/Ind AS, Companies Act, and Auditing Standards.

– Lead and supervise audit teams.

– Identify and evaluate audit findings, accounting issues, internal control deficiencies, and areas of financial reporting risk.

– Interact with client finance teams and management to discuss audit requirements, observations, and resolution of issues.

– Ensure proper audit documentation, compliance with internal quality standards, and timely closure of assignments.

– Support the company or Senior Management in client management, engagement planning and Business Development.

– Contribute to process improvements and maintain high standards of audit quality and professional delivery.

– Manage multiple assignments and timelines while ensuring effective team coordination.
