We’re Hiring: Senior Business Analyst – KYC / AML | Banking & FinTech
Location: Hyderabad & Delhi

Key Responsibilities:
– Gather, analyze and document business requirements from business, compliance and technology stakeholders.
– Prepare and manage BRD, FRD, SRS, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria & Process Flows.
– Analyze KYC/AML, CDD and Customer Onboarding processes and identify business/process gaps.
– Conduct As-Is / To-Be analysis, Gap Analysis and Impact Analysis.
– Collaborate with Business, Technology, Compliance, Risk and Operations teams.
– Facilitate requirement-gathering workshops and stakeholder discussions.
– Support UAT planning, execution, defect tracking and business sign-off.
– Translate regulatory and business requirements into clear functional requirements for technology teams.
– Perform data analysis and validation using SQL.
– Ensure solutions align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Mandatory Skills & Experience:
– 6+ years of Business Analyst experience.
– Strong Banking / BFSI / Financial Services / FinTech domain experience.
– Hands-on experience in KYC, AML, CDD, EDD and Customer Onboarding.
– Strong understanding of AML/KYC workflows, customer due diligence and risk assessment.
– Strong SQL – Joins, Aggregations, Subqueries, Data Validation & Data Analysis.
– Experience with Excel, Power BI or similar analytics/reporting tools.
– Working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence & Agile/Scrum.
– Strong analytical, documentation, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
– Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Skills:
– Knowledge of RBI, FATF, Basel and AML/KYC regulatory frameworks.
– Exposure to PEP/Sanctions Screening, Transaction Monitoring, Adverse Media or EDD.
– Experience with KYC/AML platforms, data integrations or compliance systems.
– Exposure to API/data integration and data validation.
– Agile delivery experience.
– CBAP / CCBA / PMI-PBA or equivalent certification is a plus.
Education:
– Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, IT or related field.
– MBA / relevant professional certification preferred.
