About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Strategic CFO to work closely with the promoters and management in driving business growth, expansion, diversification, M&A, and restructuring.
This is a strategic, business-focused CFO role, not a routine accounting or finance operations position. The existing Finance & Accounts team will report to the CFO, while the primary focus will be on growth strategy and strategic transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
– Partner with promoters and management on business growth, expansion, and diversification.
– Identify and evaluate M&A, acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic investment opportunities.
– Lead business and financial restructuring initiatives.
– Manage the complete M&A lifecycle, including target identification, valuation, due diligence, negotiation, closure, and post-merger integration.
– Lead and manage investment bankers, consultants, legal advisors, and other external advisors.
– Develop capital allocation and funding strategies to support business expansion.
– Provide strategic oversight to the existing Finance, Accounting, and Treasury functions.
– Support the Board and management with commercial and financial insights for key business decisions.
Candidate Requirements:
– 20+ years of overall experience with significant experience in the manufacturing sector.
– CA qualification is mandatory.
– Strong and proven experience in M&A and business expansion.
– Hands-on experience in restructuring and diversification.
– Proven ability to lead end-to-end transactions and strategic initiatives.
– Experience managing external consultants, investment bankers, and advisors.
– Strong understanding of valuation, due diligence, negotiations, and capital structuring.
– Stable career history with good tenure across organizations.
– Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and negotiation skills.

A business-oriented CFO who has worked closely with promoters, business owners, or Board members and has a proven track record of using M&A, restructuring, and strategic investments to drive business growth.
