Role Purpose:
Finance business partner to the global sourcing organization with respect to Sterile Products, as well as a key contributor to the Global Operations Finance team in the area of third party cost of goods, cost variances and transfer prices.
Key Responsibilities:
– Fulfil the function of Global Sourcing finance partner, with respect to the Sterile Vertical including regular interaction with sourcing leadership to provide meaningful strategic input.
– Manage the annual budget process and subsequent forecast updates as it relates to third party sourcing of Sterile Products.
– Support the calculation of cost of goods and transfer prices for third party products, as part of the annual Budget and the new product launch processes.
– Manage the calculation, reporting and analysis of purchase price variances, cost of goods, inventory write off’s and other operating variances related to third party products for Sterile Vertical.
– As part of the Operations Finance team in Bangalore support the monthly Inventory reporting and control process for the SPC contract manufacturers, in particular the injectable third party CMO’s.
– Support the establishment, update and maintenance of complex contract arrangements particularly in the areas of cost control and bespoke financial clauses with respect to third party sourced Sterile products.
– Support the preparation of Technical Transfer business cases including cost evaluation, project cost control, budget, forecast and actual reporting, with respect Sterile verticals.
– Support integration of supply hubs for recently acquired businesses, leading the integration of the financial processes.
– Continually drive and lead process improvement projects to standardise work and optimise efficiency.
– Collaboration with Supply Chain teams, third party Sterile Vertical operations team.
– Prepare and review monthly MIS, PPV, Annual Budgets, Track departmental expenses, Quarterly MIS Packs, Working Capital, inventory reviews related to 3P sterile products with leadership team of 3P Sterile Operations.
– Review legal agreements and amendments prior to signing to evaluate financial and business impact for all 3P partners.
– Co-ordinate with sourcing for potential vendor claims as per contractual terms.
– Review NSP settlement tracker with hub finance team. Identify mismatches between PPV accruals, commercial COGS accruals vs vendor debit and credit notes.
– Validating SAP costing masters, rectify the gaps, correction of accounting if any variance.
– Review YTD freight actuals from Trax / BI reports and identify discrepancies if any.
Qualification, Knowledge and Experience:
– CA with Minimum of 8 years post qualification experience, in a large global organisation.
– Strong data analysis skills with large complex datasets.
– Strong Business system and IT skills, combined with ability to lead improvement projects.
– SAP working experience is must.
– Working as per Europe and US Timing including India.
– Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines managing multiple priorities.
– Leadership presence and ability to communicate effectively across multiple functions.
– Tenacity and determination to ensure goals are achieved.
– Ability to solve problems with a variety of concrete variables through semi-standardized solutions that require some ingenuity and analysis.
