As the Brokerage Investment Product Development professional in our Capital Markets Solution Team you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm
Job Responsibilities:
– Centrally coordinate Product Development and Governance related activities for various investment platform initiatives, program status tracking, communication to executive stakeholders and ownership of periodic governance and reporting processes.
– Documenting current and strategic operating model.
– Maintain and proactively recommend enhancements to ongoing product MIS
– Identify, on board and maintain vendors across trading businesses.
– Provide client onboarding support for Private Bank product offerings.
– Develop understanding of regulatory/ legal landscape related to the investment product process.
– Collaborate across the diverse perspectives of Legal, Risk, Compliance, Operations and Investment teams to deliver product management as well as regulatory initiatives.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
– 2+ years of experience within financial services, preferably supporting the Global Markets business
– Excellent analytical skills, communications and presentation skills.
– Strong team player with ability to work with teams at all levels.
– Familiarity with trading products including Equities, Derivatives, Fixed Income and FX
– Strong systems, operational and control analysis skills.
– Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines organize and prioritize work.
– Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office applications and ability to code (python preferably)
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
– Proactive self-starter with a problem-solving mindset.
– Exceptional data analysis/quantitative/technical aptitude with ability to quickly learn new processes, and datasets
– Experience with tools such as Alteryx, Tableau- highly desirable.
– Understanding of market trading conventions, settlement procedures, systems, and protocol in a wide variety of asset classes preferred.
