PwC Assistant Manager / Manager Corporate Finance and Investment Banking
We are looking for a candidate to join our Corporate Finance & Investment Banking Team (Industrials) in Mumbai / Bangalore / Hyderabad. An ideal candidate would work on deal origination and transaction execution, and should meet the following requirements:
Job Description:
Deal Origination:
– Work with senior bankers across geographies on the analysis and development of transaction ideas for discussion with clients
– In-depth analysis of companies / sectors – industry landscaping, benchmarking, financial modelling, pitching
Transaction Execution:
– Integral member of the investment banking team and would be involved in the entire deal-making process for private equity and mergers & acquisition transactions
– Preparation of pitches and transaction collaterals such as business plans, information memorandums, and term sheets
– Handle communications – both internally as well as with clients / third parties (such as other investment banks, law firms, auditors, DD advisors)
– Coordinate on due diligence and deal documentation
Ideal Candidate:
– Educational Qualifications: MBA and/or CA
– Work Experience: 3-5 years; prior experience of working in investment banking will be preferred (at least 1-3 years)
– Proficiency in corporate finance along with prior experience in conducting financial analysis, preparing financial models (such as DCF, LBO, Accretion / Dilution), information memorandums and trading and transaction comparables
– Familiarity with standard research databases such as Bloomberg, S&P, CapitalIQ, VCCEdge as well as expertise in standard MS tools such as Excel, PPT and Word
– Understanding of complete corporate finance deal cycle and exposure to transaction documentation will be an added advantage
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills
– Ability to work in a team
– Ability to multitask and efficiently meet timelines
