Analyst – I banking – Private Equity & VC Deals – Spark Capital – Mumbai
a) Source transaction – the transactions can be sourced from:
i) Internal sales team
ii) PE/ VC funds – we have distribution tie up with many funds that come in handy when reaching the funds.
iii) Scanning the market for interesting ideas.
b) Analyse transactions :
i) Understand the business, financials and prepare future projections.
ii) Prepare marketing material to be used by the sales team, this includes – IM, one-pagers, financial projections, teasers etc.
iii) Present the idea to the IC.
c) Sales – Once approved by the IC:
i) Train the sales team on the opportunity.
ii) Help the sales team close transactions.
iii) Coordinate and help all parties involved in the transaction.
d) After sales :
i) Prepare sales, revenue credit MISs.
ii) Keep a track of investee companies, update the IC and sales team on the progress.
