Job Purpose
Ensure strong control environment for finance through the development of policies and procedures, ensuring their implementation and their compliance for the assigned legal entities.
Key Responsibilities
Own the design, implementation, documentation, and monitor GL accounts reconciliations process for all legal entities assigned,
Create, publish MIS to report status of all GL reconciliations and control account reconciliations,
Deliver adequate and timely action plans and monitor to resolve aged items identified as part of reconciliations process,
Work collaboratively with finance process owners to implement and monitor remediation efforts and implementation of corrective action to resolve deficiencies identified,
Standardization and automation of reconciliations, apply and implement best practices to strengthen the processes, and
Actively engage with internal and external auditors to ensure consideration and resolution of all audit findings
Any other task assigned by management.
Key Competencies
CAACCA with 2+ years post qualification work experience, CA (Inter) with 4-5 years of work experience majorly in large audit firms, MNCs with similar work experience,
Relevant experience and interest how technology and systems can support efficiency and effective reconciliation process,
Very Good Communication and Inter-personal Skills,
Adaptable to working in a fast paced, ever-changing environment,
Ability to work well independently as well as the ability to work well with stakeholders and communicate the benefits of initiatives,
Flexibility in resolving issues and addressing changing priorities,
Highly motivated, with willingness to take ownership, and prepared to excel in an intense, high-pressure work environment, and
Expert in use of MS Excel, MS Office, MS PowerPoint and Pdf.
