Risk Data, Analytics, Reporting and Technology (DART) oversees risk data aggregation, controls, reporting and analysis across all Risk Management teams, including the function of the Risk Data Transformation Sponsor, accountable for Risk’s overall data efforts, working closely with the enterprise data office. DART is responsible for enterprise reporting, data management, and technology innovation that is fundamental to Risk Management within Citi.

The team is heavily involved in providing Regulators, Risk Managers, Business Managers and Senior Management with critical data for portfolio monitoring, business reviews and regulatory reviews, as well as engaging in strategic initiatives and implementing new processes. The team interacts with a range of other stakeholders across the firm including Finance, Technology, Business units, and Audit, and assists with ad-hoc deliverables for regulators and other external audiences whenever required

Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly / quarterly risk reports and conduct analysis covering Citi’s Institutional / consumer businesses that detail risks inherent in Credit, Market, Treasury & Operational Risk Portfolios. Reporting can cover a variety of areas including but not limited:
Credit Risk Exposure, Portfolio Concentrations and Limit Exceptions
Interest rate risk exposure (including validation of cash flows to explain risk drivers, analysis of deposit modeling behavior and treasury hedging activity)
Current Expected Credit Losses (CECL) charge for ICG/Consumer businesses
High-risk and Risk Rating Downgrade names on a weekly basis and highlight the same to Portfolio Managers for prompt action.
Scenario based Portfolio stress testing.
Regional / Country Rapid Portfolio Reviews and Management Business Reviews
Utilize Tableau / Data Visualization tools to design visualizations, dashboards, and data flows
Coordinate and prepare Institutional / consumer risk management presentations for the board/regulators/executive committees
Deliver ad-hoc and time sensitive requests from seniors
Identify opportunities to enhance data capability and efficiency of the reporting process by using advanced excel functionalities such as macros, VBA etc.
Coordinate and follow up on projects that encompass multiple regions, products, and risk disciplines
Work closely with risk systems/technology on various technology projects. Participate in design of the new systems as users and UAT testing

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in the financial services industry.
Relevant work experience in banking risk management and Risk Analytics will be an added advantage
Experience in Tableau Dashboard building
Should be very strong in Advanced MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access (Pivot table & chart, VLOOKUP, and other financial/nested formulas etc., Graphs, Charts)
Cognos / MicroStrategy. Experience in manipulating/analyzing complex and voluminous data is a plus
Ability to work with all levels within the organization and across geography to drive projects to completion
Good analytical, communication (both verbal and written) and presentation skills
Team Player, independent/structured thinker, and proactive problem solver
