Risk Analyst Associate….!

Location: Mumbai

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting UK Regulatory Monitoring as required including support of SCV testing
Liaison with the colleagues in the United Kingdom (UK) and in Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) to ensure that all monitoring required is captured
Providing quality assurance / reporting on the outcomes of the monitoring program me, with particular emphasis on highlighting risks and issues, and ensuring that issues are highlighted to the appropriate people for their remediation
Monitoring risk issues and ensuring that the infrastructure keeps pace with changes to risk profile and external landscape
Develop a sound understanding of the Wealth Management (WM) UK business model and Information Technology (IT) landscape to support the COO team and wider business with the interrogation of internal applications to extract data and facilitate reporting for various topics and Regulatory Returns
Control and Risk MI & Monitoring function for OpCo review incl tracking & review of risk events
Business Management requirements working with Regional COO Team
Contributing on improving local controls and procedures
Other IPB Regional priorities, as necessary
Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

Experience in Accountancy or Management Consulting
Good understanding of the UK Regulatory environment.
Advanced in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, VLookup and data tables
An understanding of investments is beneficial
Detail-oriented and willing to challenge the status-quo
Aptitude for analytical tasks and ability to pull out the key messages
Ability to constructively challenge senior colleagues
Strong communication skills with excellent English, both orally and written
Good knowledge of the financial sector
