Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Chartered Accountant to join our CA firm as a Director / Partner – GST. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in GST and Indirect Tax, an established professional network and a proven track record of business development and client acquisition.

The candidate will be responsible for leading and expanding the firm’s GST practice, managing key client relationships, acquiring new clients and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

– Lead and develop the firm’s GST and Indirect Tax practice.

– Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.

– Bring an existing GST client portfolio and generate new business for the firm.

– Identify and convert new business opportunities into revenue-generating mandates.

– Handle GST advisory, compliance, audits, assessments, appeals and litigation.

– Provide strategic GST solutions and advisory services to clients.

– Lead and mentor the GST team and ensure quality service delivery.

– Drive revenue growth and contribute to the firm’s overall business expansion.

Candidate Requirements:

– Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).

– 12 – 18 years of post-qualification experience in GST / Indirect Tax.

– Experience working with a CA firm or professional services firm in a Partner, Director or senior leadership capacity.

– Strong technical knowledge of GST laws, advisory and litigation.

– Established client relationships and professional network.

– Proven ability to acquire new clients and independently generate business.

– Must have an existing GST client portfolio or demonstrate the ability to bring new GST mandates to the firm.
