Job Description:
What you’ll do:
– Own the monthly close end-to-end: reconciliations, accruals, and MIS on a fixed calendar.
– Own GST, TDS, income tax, and ROC compliance; run audits with zero surprises.
– Build and run internal controls across payables, payroll, inventory, banks, and gateways.
– Manage cash and working capital; own budgets, forecasts, and investor and board reporting.
– Work with Operations, Product, and advisors to automate finance processes as we scale.
What we’re looking for:
– Chartered Accountant with strong fundamentals in accounting, Ind AS, GST, and TDS.
– Hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to build processes from scratch with high ownership.
– Comfortable with Zoho Books (or similar) and Excel / Google Sheets; open to AI tools.
– 2-5 years of post-qualification experience in controllership, audit, or finance, ideally at a start-up, retail, or healthcare business.
