Manager/Assistant Manager – Statutory Audit – BFSI

Role Overview:

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant with relevant experience in Statutory Audit, accounting and financial reporting. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and hands-on exposure to financial statement consolidation.

Key Responsibilities:

– Execute and manage Statutory Audit assignments in accordance with applicable regulations and accounting standards.

– Review financial statements and ensure compliance with Ind AS, IFRS and other applicable accounting standards.

– Handle consolidation of financial statements and related reporting requirements.

– Perform audit procedures, review financial information and identify accounting/reporting issues.

– Support financial reporting and regulatory compliance requirements.

– Coordinate with clients and internal teams during audit engagements.

– Work with accounting systems such as Tally, SAP, Oracle or similar platforms.

– Use MS Excel for audit analysis, reconciliations and reporting.

– Apply knowledge of taxation laws and other regulatory requirements while reviewing financial information.

Candidate Profile:

– Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3+ years of post-qualification experience.

– Relevant experience in Statutory Audit, Accounting or Financial Reporting.

– Strong knowledge of Ind AS, IFRS and applicable accounting standards.

– Hands-on experience in financial statement consolidation.

– Good understanding of taxation and regulatory reporting requirements.

– Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.

– Strong analytical, communication and client-handling skills.
