We’ll look to you to provide control of our financial ledger through policy setting, and control, risk and systems frameworks
You’ll be responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of the financial ledger close in compliance with our policies and guidelines
Hone your financial accounting skills, and enjoy the opportunity to develop your expertise
This role is available at senior analyst level

What you’ll do

As a Financial Control Analyst, you’ll prepare the month end accounting, including journals preparation, reviews and account reconciliation. You’ll support all financial transactions to make sure they’re appropriately recorded, substantiated and reconciled, including the balance sheet and profit and loss accounts.

In addition, you’ll:

Undertake reconciliations, accounting, MI and control activities
Execute processes as per process notes and standard operating procedures, highlighting any discrepancies
Provide input and support process improvements, ensuring existing work and development activities are the focus of continuous improvements
Support systems testing such as user acceptance testing, and system or process improvement initiatives

The skills you’ll need

We’re looking for an individual with excellent financial accounting knowledge, and an understanding of revenue, balance sheet, costs and headcount measures. You’ll hold a CA, CS or CWA qualification, or equivalent.

We’ll also look to you to bring:

Experience in financial control, reporting processes and accounting
An awareness of external legislations, such as SOX
Experience of delivering core financial control and reporting outputs, including ledger close, balance sheet substantiation, statutory and management reporting
An astute eye for detail and the ability to solve problems effectively
