We are looking for a resourceful candidate to join our Financial Research (FinRes) group based in India. Depending on the candidate’s location preference, the position is open for either of our Hyderabad, Bengaluru or Gurugram offices in India. The role involves working closely with analysts in the firm’s Fundamental Equities (FE) team based in the USA, covering multiple sectors and geographies.

What You’ll Do Day-to-day

In this role, you’ll be responsible to provide coverage for specific companies across sectors, which are of interest to the group, and pitch investment ideas. You’ll track news flows and sell-side research views, cover results, support detailed modelling of company financials, and prepare investment write-ups/ presentations. You’ll be expected to conduct in-depth benchmarking of valuation and operational metrics (versus peer group), sensitivity and scenario analysis. You’ll also need to collaborate closely with front office groups to iterate on financial models and investments. Further, you’ll be expected to attend management, sell-side, intermediary and sector expert calls in addition to others.

Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate should have a degree in finance or equivalent (MBA/CFA/CA), and over five years of investment research experience
Having experience in international markets covering varied sectors would be beneficial, though not a must
Candidates should have excellent equity research skills
The candidate should have exceptional verbal and written communication skills
