Regulatory Reporting Professionals
Education: B. Com, B.Sc., B.E, Postgraduate accounting qualification, CA, or MBA Finance
Industry: Financial Services only (Mandatory)
Experience: Experience in the range of 3-8 Years in Regulatory Reporting on Liquidity Risk, Treasury IRRBB, Capital Adequacy, RWA, Credit Risk, Counterparty Credit Risk & Market Risk Reporting.
Mandatory Requirements
· Strong experience in Group Treasury Capital/Liquidity, Credit Risk, Market Risk or Regulatory Reporting acting as a Senior Business Analyst or SME.
· Strong understanding of regulatory capital concepts, Credit risk calculation methodologies (STD/IRB/BIS), Credit risk reporting and key banking products including but not limited to loans, derivatives, and trading assets.
· Exposure of calculating exposure under SACCR approach
Review of Reg Reporting process and analyses regulatory standards, current interpretations, and solution
Working with the Business to understand their products and alongside Technical BAs and Engineers to document module specifications and build the calculations.
Strong understanding on Expected Credit Loss (ECL), PD, LGD, EAD, EL.
· Experience on Global Regulatory Reporting processes driven by UK PRA, EBA, etc.
· Strong understanding of end-to-end processes and controls in the Prudential Regulatory reporting life cycle.
· Should have experience in either of the UK PRA or EU EBA Regulatory Reporting like COREP, FINREP, LCR, NSFR, IRRBB across any of the large Global Banks.
· Strong practical experience of assessing and applying the correct treatment of financial assets and derivative products in the required Regulatory Reporting.
· Sound understanding of the underlying controls in place to ensure completeness and accuracy of regulatory reporting.
Strong experience with SQL, MS Access, VBA Macros would be preferred
Experience PowerBI and Alteryx (or similar) will be viewed favorably, as will experience with Moody’s Risk Authority
