JP Morgan Chase & Co. – Bank Network Analyst

Network Management is a global function within Digital & Platform Services (DPS) of the Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) responsible for managing J.P. Morgan’s network of Agent Banks and Financial Market Infrastructures (FMI) to meet the firm’s requirements for oversight of cash and securities services for principal and client activities in over 100 markets. The network of providers includes banks, sub custodians, payment systems, central counterparties, securities depositories and cheque clearing systems.

Network Management has a global presence in key locations to provide market coverage and is comprised of several teams including: Securities & Cash Network Management, Network Client Consulting (NCC), Network Performance Management and Network Management Oversight.

Roles And Responsibilities

Conducting comparative pricing analysis and supporting Network Managers to achieve cost reductions utilizing safekeeping values, transaction volumes, cash balances, debit/credit interest, rate cards, and spend data.
Improving data quality by identifying and reviewing data anomalies and working with relevant teams to resolve, conduct root cause analysis and take steps to prevent recurrence.
Tracking progress of all pricing analysis through the different stages and ensuring appropriate documentation of evidence for estimated “saves”.
Maintaining executed fee schedules on the system of record.
Providing executed fee schedules to the relevant internal teams with any necessary clarifications to ensure that new fee schedules are implemented as expected, working with the Network Managers as needed.
Ad-hoc reporting to Senior Management of the overall financial relationship with agent banks for agent bank meetings and cost negotiations.

Qualifications/Competencies

Strong data analysis skills including proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Attention to detail combined with an ability to absorb information, highlight potential data quality issues and own to resolution.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to foster a collaborative working relationships.
A financial services background with an understanding of agent bank invoice attributes and structures is preferred.
Ability to operate under tight deadlines when required.
Effective time management including goal setting, planning, prioritizing, and monitoring.
Graduate from any stream and with 5+ years of work experience.
