Role/Department

Northern Trust is looking to recruit Analyst/Senior Analyst for its Bangalore, Pune Centre. Successful recruit would be part of Northern Trust’s Credit Market Liquidity Risk Analytics and Reporting Team. This is a highly visible role, with frequent interaction with business partners in Finance, Accounting, and Credit Risk Management.

The Key Responsibilities Of The Role Include

Major Duties
Support the daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly production of reports aligned to Credit and Counterparty Risk – Credit Risk Metrics, Dashboards and reports for various products, Non-Performing assets, Asset quality, delinquencies etc.
Update and monitor limits for counterparties, products and promptly report and analyse any breaches.
Support in data setups across system to facilities various processes.
Contribute and own credit committee tasks – working with stakeholders to create the meeting materials, action logs, overall owner for the committee material etc.
Well versed with risk related concepts, business processes, and reporting requirements and must be able to communicate effectively through both written and verbal communication with senior management and other partners.
Facilitate and Support strong controls over data, reports, and analysis, including automation, reconciliation and testing
Partner should be able to understand and quickly adapt to risk systems and technology to design strategies and support complete, correct and timely reporting
Perform documentation, procedures and controls to enable accurate and timely reporting.
Expected to build expertise in some of the key reports and support the end to end execution of the reports
Skills Required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Proven process management and process improvement skills
Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements for Counterparty Credit, Bonds, Securitization products including Basel is good to have
