JP Morgan Chase & Co. – GSS – Payment Operations – Transaction Risk Scoring Analyst

The Innovation, Risk Management, and Business Transformation team is seeking an experienced, talented team member to analyze accounts payable transactions to identify potential risk and/or red flags using established policies and/or requirements.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills and reporting or data analysis skills. The candidate also has strong communication skills, both verbally and written as potential red flags and/or issues must be clearly documented and presented to different levels of management or stakeholders. The candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role requires the ability to work in a cross-functional environment with multiple business functions and bring stakeholders to consensus, along with the flexibility to support teams and products globally, or across different time zones.


Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal team members, as well as with other teams within the firm
Analyze transactions and/or data
Document analysis and provide summary to stakeholders/management
Coordinate and/or lead meetings
Prepare reporting
Prioritize tasks and assignments to meet deadlines, and escalate concerns to direct manager
Demonstrate familiarity and competence with departmental and team procedures and applicable systems
Recommend adjustments and improvements to departmental and team procedures and applicable system enhancements


Strong analytical, prioritization, organizational, and time management skills
Problem solving / issue resolution skills as well as customer service skills
Team player with the ability to work productively within a group
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient using Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoin t
Experience in transaction and/or data analytics and/or red flag identification
Confident presenting to leaders, understanding that the work you produce will have a high level of visibility
Highly responsive with strong business acumen
