Investment Risk & Analytics (IR&A) performs investment risk oversight of wealth management businesses across the Private Bank and Consumer Bank. We are looking for an analyst to partner with senior members of our team to review business activities related to counterparty risk. You will be part of a team that covers insurance products and carriers, and client and product suitability for investments, for onboarding and ongoing governance responsibility for risks arising from the management of over $1 trillion in AUM.
Job Responsibility
Identify risk issues in the business and perform reviews to identify gaps and recommend risk mitigation strategies
Participate in working groups and/or meetings and review key risk issues, as appropriate
Review existing policies and recommend enhancements to risk management controls
Aid in performing Investments-related deep dives and other ad hoc projects
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
Have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance or related fields. Master’s degree in Finance or similar fields, CFA, FRM will be preferred
Have work experience in the financial sector, either through full-time or internship positions
Are familiar with investment products including fixed income, equity, and mutual funds
Are inquisitive, with knowledge of data visualization and/or programming tools
Appreciate the value of teamwork and working in partnership with others to accomplish our goals
Will use your knowledge to find answers to problems and create workable solutions
Can handle many different tasks and demonstrate a willingness to take on initiatives that might lay outside your area of expertise
